Privacy Policy & Data Handling
Last Updated: January 2026. Built around the core principle: Your files stay on your device.
Zero File Uploads
Your image files are parsed locally in browser memory and never uploaded to our servers.
No Account Database
We do not collect names, passwords, or emails. All tools are open for immediate utility.
Local Memory Execution
File blobs and object URLs are discarded from device memory when you close or refresh the tab.
1. Fundamental Architecture
AI Metadata Remover is engineered as a client-side web utility. When you drag or select an image on aimetadataremove.com, your browser reads the binary contents directly into client-side RAM using standard Web APIs. The inspection of metadata markers and the sanitization of file headers take place entirely on your device.
2. Data We Do Not Collect
- Your Image Files: Your photos, graphics, prompts, and metadata payloads never touch our web servers.
- Personal Identifiers: We do not ask for registration, real names, phone numbers, or physical addresses.
- Facial Recognition or Biometric Data: Because files remain local, we perform no biometric scanning or analysis.
3. Web Analytics & Server Logs
Like most websites deployed on modern cloud and edge infrastructure, standard server access logs record technical connection data (including IP address, browser user-agent, and requested page URLs) to maintain network stability, prevent DDoS attacks, and measure aggregate visitor counts. These access logs do not contain your uploaded images or file contents.
4. Third-Party Services
We do not sell, rent, or trade user data to third parties or advertising networks. Our application relies on static hosting CDN networks to serve HTML, JavaScript, and CSS assets efficiently.
5. Browser Memory & Technical Limitations
Because processing occurs directly in client-side memory, file operations are subject to your individual device hardware and browser memory constraints. Files and generated blobs exist only in volatile RAM while the active tab is open. Once you remove a file, refresh, or close the browser window, all temporary memory allocations are released. We do not use persistent local storage (such as IndexedDB or LocalStorage) to retain your image files.
6. Changes to This Policy
If our technical architecture evolves or if we introduce optional cloud processing features in the future, this privacy policy will be transparently updated to reflect exact technical workflows before any data transmission occurs.
