Supported Metadata Categories

Modern digital images contain multiple independent metadata containers. This viewer parses binary headers to extract:

EXIF Camera Data

Camera manufacturer, body model, lens serial, capture timestamps, shutter speed, aperture, and ISO.

GPS Geotags

Pinpoint latitude, longitude, elevation altitude, coordinate reference datums, and GPS timestamps.

IPTC & Editorial

Copyright notices, photographer credit lines, source licensing terms, captions, and publication cities.

XMP & Provenance

Adobe Photoshop edit histories, Camera Raw adjustments, digital rights records, and C2PA manifests.

100% Client-Side Engine

Binary structures are parsed directly inside your web browser. Big-Endian and Little-Endian TIFF headers, XML packets, and Photoshop 8BIM markers are decoded in device RAM. No file bytes or extracted metadata are sent over any network.

Supported Formats

  • JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg): APP1 EXIF, APP1 XMP, APP13 Photoshop IPTC, APP11 C2PA.
  • PNG (.png): eXIf, iTXt, tEXt, zTXt, caDX, and c2pa chunks.
  • WebP (.webp): RIFF container chunks including EXIF, XMP, and JUMB manifests.
